Seasoned Red Potatoes

A favorite the whole family will enjoy.
  • 1 lb. small red potatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. melted margarine
  • 1 Tbs. chopped chives
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • Pepper
Peel a thin strip around center of each potato, or cut into quarters. Place in pan with water and salt. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes until tender.
Just before potatoes are done, melt margarine. Add chives and dill. Season with pepper to taste. Pour over cooked potatoes and toss gently.
Serves 4, with 129 calories, 3 grams of fat per serving.
